Food Technology Intern

Intro

LOOOPS is a young foodtech startup based at NOI Techpark in Bolzano, developing sustainable ingredients through fermentation. We are looking for a Food Technology Intern to join our R&D team for a 6-month curricular internship and work hands-on with BITELOOP, our circular sweetening ingredient.

Job description

As part of the R&D team, you will contribute to the development of low-sugar food applications using BITELOOP. You will work hands-on on formulation, prototyping and testing, exploring taste, functionality and performance.

Tasks

• Formulate and develop low-sugar food applications with BITELOOP

• Create and test food prototypes

• Explore taste, functionality and performance with an innovative ingredient

• Support hands-on R&D activities around food innovation and fermentation

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Food Science and Technology or a related field

• Interested in hands-on food innovation and product development

• Curious about fermentation, sustainable food and the future of ingredients

• Able to start on-site in Bolzano as soon as possible
