Sales Development Representative (SDR) – B2B SaaS
Intro
Soource is a B2B SaaS startup developing an AI-powered Vendor Intel-ligence platform, used by large Italian and European companies to im-prove sourcing and supplier management processes. Soource is growing rapidly and is expanding its Sales team to support its expansion in the Italian and international markets.
Job description
The candidate will join the Sales Team and take on the role of Sales De-velopment Representative, acting as the first point of contact between Soource and potential customers. The role is central to the company’s growth strategy and includes clear objectives, measurable KPIs, and close alignment with the Account Ex-ecutive team.
Tasks
identification and research of potential target customers;
direct contact with prospects via phone, email, and digital channels; · presentation of Soource’s value proposition to business decision-makers (entrepreneurs, CFOs, Procurement Managers);
lead qualification and collection of relevant commercial infor-mation;
generation of qualified demos for Account Executives;
management and update of the sales pipeline within the CRM;
monitoring activities against weekly and monthly KPIs;
continuous collaboration with the Sales team to improve messaging and sales processes.
Requirements
Nice to have: Degree (completed or in progress) in economics, man-agement, marketing, industrial engineering, or similar fields, or equivalent background;
Depending on the candidate’s experience:
o Internship (curricular or extracurricular) for junior profiles or candidates without prior experience in the role;
o Fixed-term or permanent contract for candidates with at least 6 months of experience as an SDR or in a similar role in tech / B2B SaaS environments, with proven KPI achievement.

proficient use of Microsoft Office / Google Workspace;
operational use of CRM and contact management tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent);
professional use of email, calendar, and online communication tools; · familiarity with sales outreach and prospecting tools (e.g. LinkedIn, Apollo, Lusha);
ability to quickly learn new software tools.
LANGUAGES
Italian: native or equivalent;
English: good written and spoken level (additional languages are a plus).
