FULL-STACK DEVELOPER (M/W/D) – SAAS FOR URGENT TRANSPORT
Intro
Karryfast is an innovative start-up from Bolzano building a B2B SaaS marketplace for urgent dedicated transport with light commercial vehicles across Europe. We automate pricing, carrier assignment, documents and payments – the tedious part nobody wants to do – so freight forwarders and companies can focus on their own work. We are looking for a full-stack developer to take ownership of the platform during our commercial launch.
Job description
Small, hands-on team. The platform is live in production and has already handled its first pilot loads. The stack is Laravel + Vue/Nuxt + MySQL, with integrations for Stripe Connect, HERE Maps, freight exchanges and e-invoicing. You will work alongside the developers who built the platform and report directly to the head of product and operations.
Tasks
Evolve and modernise the platform, both backend (Laravel, REST APIs, MySQL) and frontend (Vue/Nuxt, Tailwind CSS)
Build new features and integrations with external partners (payments, e-CMR digital consignment note, freight exchanges)
Contribute to the quality, reliability and security of the system: testing, deployment, monitoring
Work with product and operations to turn customer needs into technical solutions
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience on production applications with PHP and Laravel
Hands-on experience with Vue.js, with Nuxt or in SPA architectures with a separate backend
Designing and integrating REST APIs, webhooks and third-party services; solid MySQL skills
Daily practice with Git, Docker and CI/CD pipelines
Nice to have: migrations between major versions of Laravel/PHP or from Vue 2 to Vue 3 / Nuxt 2 to Nuxt 3
Nice to have: experience with B2B SaaS or marketplaces, especially Stripe Connect or other payment systems
Nice to have: automated testing (Pest/PHPUnit, Jest) and monitoring tools (e.g. Sentry)
Nice to have: knowledge of logistics/transport or of the Italian regulatory context (e-invoicing)
Language: fluent Italian; technical English for documentation and APIs
We offer:
Gross annual salary (RAL) between €32,000 and €42,000 paid in cash, based on experience and skills according to objective criteria
A share of compensation as work for equity (financial instruments of Karryfast SRL), tied to a minimum length of commitment; terms disclosed before the technical interview
12-month fixed-term contract, full-time, CCNL Commercio/Terziario, starting November 2026
Hybrid work with flexible hours on remote days; meal vouchers
Direct impact on a product in production: fast decisions and real ownership of the code
Place of work: Bolzano, hybrid – 2 days a week on site, the rest remote.
Selection: intro call (30 min) → short technical exercise, not related to our production work (max 2 h) → technical interview (60 min) → final meeting.
