Imagine a quick and easy way to find parking spaces when you visit a city for the first time or when you’re going about your day-to-day business in your own city. In Merano, the Merano App, created by the local tourist board and Keep in Mind, makes all this possible.

The app provides a wealth of real-time data on available parking spaces, courtesy of NOI’s Open Data Hub Data Access service. All via a centralised interface. This brilliant service has multiple advantages. It improves the experience for tourists and Merano residents, plus it helps reduce traffic, and offers benefits in terms of sustainability and efficient resource use. 

In addition to parking information, the app provides users with information on events, weather updates, and accommodation, as well as directions, details on cycling tours and walking trails, a food and drink guide, webcam access and much more. Thanks in part to Open Data Hub support, this versatile tool allows people to make the most of their time in Merano.
