Anyone working during the August bank holiday will appreciate good air-conditioning. And even on a freezing winter days, many Italian companies require low temperatures to prevent their production systems from overheating. The fact that this can be achieved with around one-fortieth of the electricity required makes it an exciting project that NOI can support. 

Thanks to our glacier-cooled rivers, such resource savings are possible. In Bergmeister’s pilot project, for example, the cold waters of the River Isarco could meet the cooling needs of different companies in Bressanone’s industrial zone through an in-house developed system.
