Fresh restaurant-style pizza, served by a robot

Pizza has never been this fast or this tasty. Cibo Labs specialises in manufacturing automated pizza machines that do just that.
Founder Claudio Torghele has always dreamed of baking gourmet pizzas in just three minutes from order time, using quality ingredients and toppings. With the support from our Kitchen Lab, this dream has become a reality. Our test kitchen works closely with customers in the food industry, guiding them through the process of creating recipes and developing new products, including testing, tasting and final validation. This is precisely what we did with Cibo Labs.

“I approached Kitchen Lab because I knew it was the right place to develop my prototypes,” explains Torghele, who was already familiar with NOI as his company was based here. “We were faced with the challenge of creating pizza toppings that looked appealing, had a long shelf life and were compatible with Cibo Labs’ machines,” states Ben Schneider, Head of Food Prototyping and Experience at NOI. This challenge led the team to a Milan-based company that could help them test out the results in practice. “We supported the company in Milan and industrialised the process,” confirms Schneider.
