Augmented reality training

Augmented reality training
Although microchips are tiny, they are one of the most important components in the trillion-dollar electronics industry and are found in mobile phones, medical devices, cars, and countless other electronic products.
GlobalWafers has been a world leader in innovative semiconductors since 1959 and supplies leading manufacturers with essential wafer chip components. The Sinigo-based company has been working with the Free University of Bolzano (unibz) for some time in the field of augmented reality, particularly in the development of highly innovative, AR-powered staff training.
This project demonstrates how new technologies can support existing work processes, with NOI acting as a platform that brings together the needs of industry and the expertise of research institutes.
Industry events play a key role, not only in transferring knowledge, but also in creating new contacts and developing new synergies. This is what happened with GlobalWafers and the Free University of Bolzano. Seeing is believing.
