From the lab to the production line to the development of new technologies, sound decisions begin with trustworthy data. But data is only ever as reliable as the tools used to capture it. That’s where calibration comes in. It ensures sensors deliver precise readings, laying the foundation for accurate decisions.
The Techne Metrology Lab specialises in high-precision calibration and product-related metrology. Offerings include the calibration of temperature and humidity sensors, sensor chains and physical quantities such as pressure, length, height, force, torque, mass and electrical parameters.
A key area of expertise is 3D product measurement using tactile, optical, laser-based and X-ray tomography methods to capture everything from external contours to internal structures. These capabilities support defect detection, CAD data reconstruction (reverse engineering) and targeted optimisation of production processes.
In addition, the lab develops methodological approaches for process automation and defect analysis. It also provides practical training in industrial metrology based on the AUKOM standard.
The Techne Metrology Lab carries out accredited testing.
