Interdisciplinary collaboration
Participative & co-creative work
Easy to connect with other labs
Promotion of creativity & diverse perspectives
This is where researchers, developers and creative minds from a variety of disciplines come together to shape new ideas – from the first sketch to fully formed concepts. Interdisciplinary exchange is at the heart of the lab: teams from design, engineering, social sciences and beyond apply collaborative methods to develop, visualise and refine holistic solutions – often partnering with other labs during later project phases.
The lab employs methods such as participatory design, design probes, model studies and focus groups. The space is intentionally open plan and equipped with tools that foster both creativity and user research – from simple components for low-fidelity prototyping to devices for recording and analysing interactions.
