Every company should be able to afford research and development.
The Lab Bonus is a quick and unbureaucratic funding instrument from the Autonomous Province of Bolzano to support research and development in South Tyrolean companies and start-ups. Using the laboratories at NOI Techpark can reduce your company’s lab costs by up to 65%. To keep the application and payout process fast and straightforward, funding is capped at €30,000 per year.

Who is it for?
All companies with a production unit in the province of Bolzano that are duly registered with the Bolzano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture can apply.
For what?
You can use the Lab Bonus for contract research, analyses and lab tests in over 50 laboratories at NOI Techpark. You can also use it for scientific advice or get hands-on in our Open Labs.
How much?
The Lab Bonus covers 50–65% of your estimated laboratory costs, depending on company size: small companies receive a 65% grant, medium-sized companies receive 60% and large companies receive 50%.

When can you apply?
You can apply all year round – up to and including 15 December. Applications for the new year will be processed from the first Monday after Epiphany.
