Together with Elektro A. Haller, Eurac Research and lvh, we helped develop a solution: Receptic, the first patented, fully automatic tracking system for tools. 

It started with a hackathon at NOI, where developers and craftspeople from Elektro A. Haller worked side by side for 24 hours to sketch the first concept. The idea impressed the company – and led to a technical feasibility study by Eurac Research’s Centre for Sensing Solutions. 

The result is straightforward: small transponders attached to individual tools connect to gateways in places like the warehouse, the construction site or the company van. If something goes missing, the system sends an alert right away – a real revolution for anyone working on construction sites.
