We leverage BIG Data collected from IoT-connected systems at truck and refuelling station levels to develop digital solutions that facilitate the adoption of alternative fuels, making the transition easier, faster, and more affordable.

Job Description:
Arxax is seeking a seasoned and energetic Business Development Manager to drive our growth and expand our footprint across Italy. We are looking for a self-starter with proven experience selling B2B digital solutions in complex environments. The ideal candidate will be proactive in generating leads through prospecting, networking, and leveraging prior relationships, while being comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage, and convert qualified leads into closed deals

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with prospective customers and stakeholders

  • Drive profitable sales growth by acquiring new customers and reactivating dormant accounts

  • Analyse market and industry trends to identify customer needs and emerging opportunities

  • Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets

  • Develop and execute on an sales strategy in collaboration with the leadership team

  • Conduct competitive research and gather market intelligence to inform positioning and pricing

  • Support the creation of case studies showcasing successful customer outcomes

  • Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to improve Arxax’s offering

Requirements:

  • Strong enthusiasm for sales and a hunger for success

  • Minimum 3 years of proven track record managing accounts and developing new business in a B2B environment with proven track records

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work hands-on in an early-stage, high-growth company

  • Experience selling digital or technology solutions and working with CRM and lead generation platforms such as Apollo.

  • Knowledge of the transport, logistics, or fuel/energy sector is highly desirable

  • Ability to roll up sleeves, think creatively, and get the job done

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the natural ability to build trust and rapport with prospects

  • Willingness to travel across Italy and the DACH region as required

  • Excellent communication skills in Italian and English. Speaking German is a plus.

Salary: €50,000-€65,000 (depending on experience plus commission)
