Where sports meet tech

How three young companies are turning a passion for sports into digital solutions
Three start-ups, three sports and one shared idea: Clava Sports, Bikeflip and Ace Cream use digital solutions to bring people closer to the sports they love. At the same time, they build on strong communities – and on the innovative environment at NOI.
Clava Sports brings know-how and experience from professional football into the amateur game. Its app provides real-time results, statistics and news, while also showing how amateur teams develop over the course of a season and making their performance more visible. From its base at NOI, the South Tyrolean start-up is continuing to refine its offer and preparing its next steps in the Italian and DACH markets.
Bikeflip has created a digital marketplace for buying and selling pre-owned bikes. The platform connects people looking to buy or sell a bicycle and makes the process safer, with secure payments and delivery across Europe. The start-up is now focused on strengthening its presence across the DACH region and expanding into further European markets.
Ace Cream has developed an app-based game for tennis fans around the world. In this fantasy game, users choose real players for tournaments, collect points based on their performance and follow matches in real time. Ace Cream is evolving into a digital hub for tennis fans and a growing platform dedicated to the sport.
The Start-up Incubator at NOI Techpark supports all three start-ups with individual coaching and mentoring as well as strategic advice. We also help them connect with suitable investors and partners and support them in areas such as funding, market entry and growth.
