The Sustainable Manufacturing Lab at NOI Techpark in Bruneck-Brunico supports companies on their path to a sustainable future. The Sustainable Manufacturing Lab’s projects and activities centre on four research areas:
DECARBONISATION and LIFE CYCLE ASSESSMENT: We use LCA software and databases to assess your company’s carbon footprint, whether for specific products or the entire organisation. Based on these insights, we identify effective decarbonisation strategies. Additionally, we provide support for data-driven sustainability reporting.
CIRCULAR ECONOMY: To minimise waste and keep resources in circulation, we analyse your company’s current processes and production systems, identifying opportunities for circular and cascading production methods.
RESOURCE EFFICIENCY: We analyse your company’s material and energy flows, tracking them digitally to optimise resource use and achieve zero-waste management.
ETHICAL AND SOCIALLY SUSTAINABLE MANUFACTURING: We collaborate with your company to design production processes and workplaces that enhance employee well-being and promote diversity and inclusion.
