Three performances, one space – where sound, body and presence converge. For its 25th edition, Transart opens the festival at NOI Techpark Bolzano with a multi-sensory experience between installation, choreography and intimate performance.
In SENZA NOME, Romeo Castellucci presents a performative installation: ten performers create sound by striking a golden brass cylinder with their long, wet hair. A repeated, primitive movement, emerging from the body – an alert, an ancestral prayer.
INNERVISION, a monumental choreography by Martin Messier, features sixty dancers forming a living sculpture – a collective body that swells, contracts and breathes. Each performer follows the artist’s instructions as if carried by an inner voice oscillating between obedience and free will.
In her intimate solo piece REHEARSAL, South Korean artist Geumhyung Jeong explores the fragile relationship between body and object. Her subtle movements shift the balance between control and surrender, raising questions about who animates whom.
