Big data for food, agriculture and health: thanks to rapid technological advances in areas such as sequencing, mass spectrometry and imaging, it is now possible to generate large and multi-layered data sets that capture multiple aspects of biological systems, collectively known as “multiomics”.
The use of these datasets has significant potential in both research and product development and is attracting increasing attention also in South Tyrol. With the Computational Multiomics Symposium, to which we cordially invite you, we are taking an important step: for the first time, we are bringing together researchers from different fields and industrial partners to promote exchange and collaboration on current developments and challenges in multiomics data analysis and application.
The event will be held in English without simultaneous translation.
Participation is free of charge.
This event is funded by the European Fund of Regional Development EFRE in the project “IMPACT Specialization Strategy”.
