Three companies, three innovations, one shared journey: CAEmate, HBI and XSpline have brought their innovative solutions to an advanced stage of development and applied for the EIC Accelerator. This EU programme supports companies with strong innovation and growth potential that are looking for substantial funding to further develop their products and bring them to market. We accompanied the three companies on this path. 

CAEmate makes the management of major infrastructure safer and more efficient: its software provides reliable data on the condition of bridges, tunnels, and other structures. HBI demonstrates how sewage sludge can be transformed into a circular product by recovering water, renewable energy and valuable raw materials from it. XSpline, in turn, integrates AI into cardiac medicine, helping to optimise the treatment of heart failure. 

All three projects were found to be convincing in the European evaluation. Due to a lack of available funds, direct funding through the EIC Accelerator was not possible. However, CAEmate, HBI and XSpline received the Seal of Excellence from the European Commission – an official recognition of the quality and potential of their projects. This seal opened the door to regional ERDF funding. 

From support with the applications to making the most of new funding opportunities, we helped the companies turn strong ideas into concrete development prospects.
