What the lab researches

Media Interaction Lab

Our research focus: the user interfaces of tomorrow

From sensor technologies to intelligent textiles: we tackle real-world challenges.

In the Media Interaction Lab, we explore human-computer interaction (HCI), physical computing and ubiquitous computing. Our research focuses on interactive surfaces, smart textiles and creative environments, as well as the sensor technologies that make them possible.

Our projects address real problems and challenges faced by industrial companies – in the automotive sector, for example. Our approach blends theory, design and evaluation. Always user-centred, our solutions are developed in close collaboration with end users.
