Thinking Ahead – Touring exhibition of the Federal Ecodesign Award  
(in collaboration with the Faculty of Design and Art and the Competence Centre for Sustainability of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano)  

19 June to 19 July 2025 at the NOI Techpark in Bolzano  

Good design and environmental sustainability are not contradictory: this is the central message of the “Thinking Ahead” touring exhibition of the German Federal Ecodesign Award.   

Since 2012, the German Federal Ministry for the Environment and the Federal Environment Agency have been organising the annual competition in cooperation with the International Design Centre Berlin. It is aimed at designers, companies and students from Germany and Europe whose work promotes sustainable change in business and society. The nominated and award-winning projects are presented in the form of a year-long touring exhibition, e.g. in museums and at trade fairs in Germany and other European countries – this year also at the NOI Techpark in Bolzano as part of Summer at NOI.
