For the third edition of SMART & SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS, we’re taking a closer look: at plastics that find their way back into the loop. At materials that become sensors. And at solutions that combine sustainability with demanding technical requirements.

Learn how Ducati brings sustainability and high performance together in motorcycle engineering, how Pirelli uses materials to develop innovative tyres, how Scherer turns circular WPC compounds into finished products, and how Aquafil puts recycled ECONYL® PA6 and recyclable mono-material composites to work. On the research side, the University of Trento shares insights into engineering bioplastics, and the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano presents materials that turn into interactive surfaces and can transmit information. Automotive material requirements also take centre stage, with Stellantis and Röchling discussing sustainable solutions for end-of-life vehicles (ELVs).

The presentations will be held in English. We are testing an AI tool for simultaneous translation into Italian and German.
