Spring is picking up pace, and we are quickly approaching our third Software Developer's Thursday of this year. March has us looking into the perks and downsides of microservices architecture:

Every architecture has its advantages and disadvantages, and microservices is no different. Is there a universal good practice – or anything universally bad? Perhaps the best question to ask is: in what case can a particular practice be good or harmful? The details of each application's context will determine how the architecture fits – and often what is positive in one case can cause problems in another.
With his talk, João Francisco Daniel (UNIBZ) will attempt to dive into these discussions in a fun way: playing Odd One Out with microservices architecture, we will evaluate different scenarios and practices, and try to find out if there is a "mole" among the others!
