What the lab researches

Free Software Lab

We believe that free open source is the future of software.

LoRaWAN, Beacon, 5G & more: we are the test lab for software developers, CIOs and CTOs.

In the experimental Free Software Lab, research institutions, software developers, CIOs and CTOs meet to test the latest digital technologies such as LoRaWAN, Beacon, 5G and voice assistance systems. Our experts launch R&D projects and accompany projects in the fine-tuning phase. Software prototypes are also developed.

Open technologies: for us, this means Open Standard, Open Data and Free Open Source Software.

We believe in the future of open technologies such as Open Standard, Open Data and Free Open Source Software. In this spirit, the lab is also open to you: you can test the usability of web applications and interfaces yourself and get to know trends and new software development methods on-site.
The Free Software Lab is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the EU project Davinci (EFRE1063).
