Robotics is rapidly transforming the fields of healthcare, rehabilitation, and sports. Advances in artificial intelligence, sensing technologies, and human–machine interaction are enabling new assistive and wearable technologies that support recovery, independence, and the enhancement of human capabilities, both in clinical settings and in everyday life.
Robotics in Practice is a one-day event organized by Fraunhofer Italia and dedicated to innovation in applied robotics. The initiative brings together research and industry to explore how these technologies are developed and translated into practical solutions for real-world applications.
Through expert presentations and case studies, participants will gain insights into the latest developments and future perspectives in the field. Special attention will be given to applied research and projects addressing key societal challenges such as population ageing, rehabilitation needs, and performance support in sports and wellbeing. In addition, application examples from companies based in South Tyrol will demonstrate how collaboration between research and industry can generate a tangible impact at the regional level.
Participation is free of charge; registration is required via the following link.
