Jazzfestival Opening

On 26 June, Südtirol Jazzfestival Alto Adige 2026 opens at NOI Techpark in Bolzano, setting the tone from the very first beat: an interpretation of sound as a physical experience, an adventure, a compass pointing to new perspectives on contemporary European jazz. 

Norway’s Gard Nilssen Supersonic Orchestra kicks off the festival. With its brass section and triple rhythm line-up, the ensemble unleashes supersonic energy on stage – setting the festival in vibrant motion from the very first night.
