The dance theatre festival Alps Move presents Up Close, a performance by the dancer and choreographer Anastasia Kostner, born in Gardena. Nine performers move through a space that eliminates the traditional separation between audience and stage, creating an immersive dance performance that explores proximity, perception, and the delicate balance between the individual and the collective.

Audience members and performers share the same space, meeting in an environment where gazes, breaths, and the slightest movements become part of the choreography. The work explores how proximity transforms our perception and what dynamics emerge when people move within the same space.

In this complex and layered choreographic organism, individual voices and movements, while maintaining their distinct identities, gradually intertwine to give rise to a collective body, constructed with rigorous compositional precision.
