The Smart Mini Factory Lab is a learning factory lab for applied research and teaching. Our team investigates and simulates production technology concepts and methods in the context of Industry 4.0, focusing on the requirements of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the areas of hybrid and human-centred production and assembly systems, as well as robotics and mechatronics for industrial automation.
In the Factory Lab, we offer a platform where researchers, students and companies’ employees can meet to boost the transfer of knowledge from research to companies, e.g. through research collaborations or contract research. Our team offers practical seminars for companies on the topic of Industry 4.0.
