Research at the interface between light and electricity
We research a range of materials – from bio-inspired, organic, inorganic and hybrid semiconductors to transparent conductive oxides – and characterise their optical and electrical properties. We develop light-emitting diodes (LEDs), photovoltaic cells and spin coating systems. We also study the surface morphology and photoluminescence of thin films. And we examine the electroluminescence of various LEDs.
