A controlled research environment, a stimulating learning atmosphere: this is where new tools and strategies to enhance computer science teaching and learning are developed.
Guided by a hands-on approach, HOLA’s research spans all aspects of computer science education – from foundational learning to professional training and continuing education. Our work focuses on creating interactive, immersive learning experiences and developing and evaluating cutting-edge pedagogical approaches and tools. To comprehensively capture learning dynamics, we employ a range of techniques, including observation, 360° video recording, role-playing and simulations. These methods provide reliable data – and help us on our mission to design the “classroom of the future”.
