Introduction
Geomatrix is a new industrial startup and a spinoff of the Swiss toy company Geomagworld. The company focuses on developing Xi, a sustainable plastic polymer made from wood waste from certified forests. The startup is led by a team with extensive industrial experience, based at NOI BZ, and is in venture building with ZEST Milan.

Job Description
Joining a startup focused on the circular economy, you will work directly with the founders to develop all non-technical activities (economic, commercial, and organizational). The role involves an initial period of close mentorship (shadowing) with the founder to focus on business development, communication, and strategic positioning.

What You’ll Do
You will play a key role in positioning Geomatrix as a leader in the sustainable plastic materials market while driving sustainable financial growth, increasing sales, and improving client relationships:

  • Manage relationships with public entities, suppliers, clients, and industrial partners.

  • Create and manage work plans and project timelines.

  • Assist with team structuring.

  • Prepare economic and financial reports.

  • Attend targeted events and trade shows to develop our business.

  • Secure funding opportunities.

  • Conduct research to identify potential clients, new markets, and customer needs.

  • Build long-term relationships with new clients.

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow the business.

  • Support strategic and financial planning.

  • Manage internal and external communications related to R&D projects.

Your Profile

  • Educational background in economics or management.

  • Preferable experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or similar roles.

  • Project management skills and familiarity with management tools.

  • Specific skills and experience in processes such as sales, CRM, logistics, and digital marketing.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (e.g., PPT, Keynote).

  • Strong relationship-building abilities.

  • Self-starter with excellent time management, planning, and prioritization skills.

  • Flexibility and problem-solving skills.

  • Goal-oriented mindset.

  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Motivation and enthusiasm.

  • Proficiency in Italian, German, and English.

  • Willingness to travel frequently for business.
