Sirius Game is a benefit startup in the field of Educational Technology that, since 2021, has been developing a web app and an app for schools. We work with teachers and students with the goal of making the world of education more democratic and inclusive, promoting student well-being through the use of innovative pedagogy. In 2023, we were the best Ed-Tech solution in Italy, and in 2024, we placed second in the global competition. Our headquarters are in South Tyrol, in Bolzano, and we have a team of people from all over Italy, but we want to expand even further and conquer the international market. Job description

We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and an experienced Full Stack Developer, with skills in both back-end and front-end, to lead our technology team and develop high-quality web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of PHP and the Symfony framework, and preferably be passionate about video games.

Tasks

• Technology Strategy: Define and implement the company's technology strategy, aligning it with long-term business objectives.

• Full Stack Development: Develop, test, and maintain web and mobile applications.

• Innovation and R&D: Identify new technologies and innovation opportunities to enhance the company's products and services.

• Project Management: Plan, assign, and monitor technology projects, ensuring deadlines and budget are met.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide appropriate solutions.

• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology and IT service providers.

Requirements

• Technical Skills:

• Front-End: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap

• Back-End: PHP, Symfony framework

• Database: MySQL

• Expertise in web and mobile applications.

• Experience in startups.

• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Problem Solving: Ability to solve complex problems creatively and effectively.

• Passion for video games.
