In the late 1930s, the Alumix aluminium plant supplied materials for aeroplanes, bombs and coffee machines. Today, the former crane hall of the plant, which is 70 metres long and 10 metres high, is part of the NOI Techpark in Bolzano. Members of the Brainteaser Orchestra will perform here with acoustic instruments, incorporating the hall's echoes into their music.

The orchestra, conducted by Tijn Wybenga, represents the vibrant and young Dutch jazz scene. The ensemble received the German Jazz Prize for its album ‘Brainteaser’ (2021) and is known for its original approach to composition: the musicians’ improvisations are recorded, sampled, and processed, then transformed into scores that can be performed by the entire orchestra.
