Science and art for sustainable urban design

A coating that protects concrete surfaces for decades, filters pollutants out of the air and thus enables sustainable, aesthetic urban design: this is the result of the joint research project ‘Urban Shield’ by MINI, Eurac Research, the Laimburg Research Centre and Emotitech – impressively implemented in the mural by Luca Font on the access ramp to the NOI garage. The internationally renowned artist uses powerful forms and colours to reflect the surrounding architecture and describe a dynamic place of constant innovation.
