How to keep reusable materials in the loop and out of landfills? Join us for an open talk and discussion with Lukas Binner from Trash Galore, a sustainability service provider from Leipzig.

Trash Galore Trash Galore (www.trashgalore.de) is a sustainability service provider in the event and exhibition industry, specializing in the direct redistribution of surplus materials from trade shows, brand events, and festivals to social and cultural initiatives. Our mission: keeping reusable materials in the loop and out of landfills.

Lukas Binner Coming from the trade fair construction industry, Lukas Binner founded the Trash Galore project with Anne-Sophie Müller and Fabian Höffner. He packs trucks like others pack their suitcases, builds little quantum computers out of Excel spreadsheets, and coordinates dismantling and transport planning—especially when there’s a large amount of material being redistributed again. As a materials enthusiast, he’s also the team expert for EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations) and life cycle assessments—whether it’s about individual rolls of carpet or an entire event.

inteREXiert

This event is part of inteREXiert, a series of open talks followed by public debate organized by the reuse initiative REX - Material und Dinge / materiali e cose (www.rex-bx.it). inteREXiert is funded by the Autonomous Province of Bolzano/Bozen – South Tyrol and aims to bring together people with a shared interest in taking care of our material resources and critical engagement with this topic. *
