A closer look at the Open Data Hub

July at NOI has more to offer than sunshine and good vibes. It also brings another edition of Software Developer’s Thursday!

This month, we are focusing on the Open Data Hub and, more specifically, the process of actualising its architecture.

Christian Roggia, co-founder of Animeshon, will present the proof of concept (POC) of the new architecture that has been developed and the technologies that have been used.

The project’s goals:
>> improve and simplify inbound APIs by offering different ways to provide data to the Open Data Hub
>> store the raw data provided by each data provider in the Data Marts before processing
>> improve the performance of the entire system
The event will conclude with an open discussion about the developers’ choices, exciting projects and solutions and possible optimisations they should consider.
