AI image generation, the experience of the Open Data Hub project

In the May edition of our Software Developers Thursday, Ilaria Brescia (unibz) will take us on a journey into image generation with AI:

Artificial intelligence and machine learning are likely to change the way we write text, develop code and many other activities in the coming years. But what about image creation? Will artificial intelligence be able to automatically generate images of events, places, activities, etc.?
The Open Data Hub team has developed a first proof of concept of a microservice that generates images using the data provided by the Open Data Hub API.
Together with the Open Data Hub team, Ilaria Brescia will present the AI auto image generator to the community. The goals of this meeting are to share the experiences made during the development, to gather feedback from the community and to discuss other possible uses of the AI.
