Pre-Incubation Program

This program is aimed at future founders of start-ups and supports them in planning and establishing their start-up. There are three selection processes per year and the winners (maximum of 15 teams per year) can expect the following services:

Coaching: individual coaching on product development, development of the business model and funding strategy

Training: workshops, academies, mentor network, cooperation with unibz for their Lean Start-up Course

Networking & Community: establishing contacts with strategic clients, support in market research, inclusion in the Start-up Community

Funding: support with access to public finances and private investors

Idea Space: access to 120 m² office space, near to other start-ups, research institutions and companies, as well as free access to the two experimental laboratories Maker Space and Kitchen Lab

Pre-Incubation Grant

This support program, which is offered in cooperation with the Autonomous Province of Bozen-Bolzano and the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, is aimed at people with a business idea who want to set up their own start-up company. Every year there is a bidding process in which the recipients of the start-up founder’s bursary are selected. The winners will receive a maximum grant of 13,500 euros per year if only one member of a team participates in the program and 18,000 euros per year if several members of a team are involved. The program lasts six months, with the possibility of an extension for a maximum of a further six months.

Entry requirements:
  • Private individuals based in South Tyrol (no entrepreneurs)
  • No current employment relationship and no stake in any company
  • Highly innovative project with unique selling point and good economic prospects

 

Start-up Incubator

In our Start-up Incubator, operative start-ups and spin-offs will find an ideal environment for the first few years of their existence as a company. A tailor-made Acceleration-Plan is developed for each start-up which is accepted into the Incubator, based on milestones to be reached over three years, and containing targeted measures and services for achieving these milestones. These services include:

Training: academies, workshops, mentor network, Lean Start-up formation (in cooperation with unibz)

Networking & Community:  contacts with strategic partners, inclusion in the NOI Community and the Euregio Startup Community

Funding: support with access to public finances and private investors

Space: 2,700 m² office and laboratory space, meeting rooms, access to the two experimental laboratories Maker Space and Kitchen Lab

Boot-up Program

This program is aimed at start-ups and spin-offs in the Start-up Incubator, who are in the development phase and are not yet operating in the market. It involves intensive coaching with the aim of accelerating the market entry of the participating start-ups. The coaching is carried out in collaboration with external partners and usually lasts three months. Participation in the boot-up program takes place via a bidding process, and the number of participants is limited.

Scale-up Program

This program is aimed at start-ups and spin-offs in the Start-up Incubator, who are already operating in the market and want to scale up their business idea. It involves intensive coaching with the aim of accelerating the market growth of the participating start-ups. The program is carried out in collaboration with external partners and coaches (entrepreneurs). Participation in the scale-up program takes place via a bidding process, and the number of participants is limited.
