The largest research centre in South Tyrol

In South Tyrol's largest research centre, more than 400 researchers are working on improving the future lives of people, with around 100 of them currently based here in NOI Techpark. The mutual stimulation of entrepreneurship, craftsmanship, science and culture is always at the very centre of the research activities.

At NOI Techpark, Eurac Research operates a total of 14 R&D laboratories in the areas of renewable energy sources, technologies for environmental monitoring, climate simulation and research into mummies. Three institutes are located here: Renewable Energy, Mountain Emergency Medicine and Mummy Studies. In the future, the Institute for Biomedicine is scheduled to move here. Modern facilities such as the terraXcube extreme climate simulator offer researchers and industry unimaginable opportunities - from new findings in altitude medicine, to the functional improvement of outdoor clothing and stress tests for technologies on the mountain such as snow groomers or snow cannons.
