New "Guidelines for the transport and storage of pellets"

As part of the activities of the IDM "Pellet & Woodchip" Working Group, the Fire Prevention Office of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano and the IDM Energy & Environment Ecosystem published the "Guidelines for the transport and storage of pellets for domestic and small-scale use".
The document, which provides information on the safety of transport, handling and storage of pellets, is a practical support for those involved in the design of plants powered by this type of fuel.

The Guidelines were written by Arianna Villotti (Fire Prevention Office), Rudi Bertagnolli (Ingena) and Andrea Ostuni Minuzzi (Technical Office Ostuni Minuzzi), supervised by the Ecosystem Energy & Environment of IDM South Tyrol and published in collaboration with the "Pellet & Woodchip" Working Group (Agenzia Provinciale per l’Ambiente, lvh.apa – Confartigianato Imprese, Consorzio Agrario di Bolzano, Beikircher Grünland Srl, Eneralp Srl, Federer Pellets Srl, Hydroklima Snc, Kostner Srl, KWB Italia Srl, Riscaldamenti Widmann Srl).
