Trade Association for Craftsmen and Service Providers South Tyrol

Advice on crowd funding and other types of financing is provided by the trade association lvh.apa in its Innovation & New Markets department at NOI Techpark. It also supports companies in the implementation of idea competitions according to the open innovation paradigm. Using this method, external persons can be involved in innovation processes and new services, and products can be better geared to the specific needs of the customer. The business association, along with Fraunhofer Italia, also runs the CRAFTech project, which by contrast offers companies advice on the implementation of their individual digitisation strategy.

With more than 8,000 members, lvh.apa is one of the largest trade associations in South Tyrol, representing the interests of the South Tyrol craft and service sector. It has set itself the task of designing the framework conditions for medium-sized, small and micro enterprises in such a way that they remain competitive and sustainable. To this end, it works closely with political and economic decision-makers. The EU-funded Interreg Italy-Austria project Labs.4.SMEs, for example, which lvh.apa is running together with its project partners, offers companies the opportunity to participate in collaborative projects with innovation service providers and laboratories in order to develop prototypes and new products in NOI Techpark.
